dc.descriptionAn Awareness Programme on First Aid, Dog Bite Prevention, Street Dogs, and Child Safety has been organized at Women's College, Tinsukia under the guidance of our respected Principal sir and in accordance with the Supreme Court’s guidelines on human street dog management. The programme aimed to educate students, teachers, and parents on first aid steps after dog bites, safe behaviour around stray dogs, and the importance of timely Anti-Rabies Vaccination. NSS Programme Officer Mr. Gagan Talukdar, NSS Unit, Women's College, Tinsukia delivered an informative lecture, explaining practical safety measures, understanding dog behaviour, and the legal responsibilities related to street dogs. Students actively participated and shared their experiences. The programme successfully enhanced awareness, promoted child safety, and encouraged responsible and compassionate community action towards ensuring the safety of both children and animals.en_US
