| Description: | An International MoU Signing Ceremony has been held in Women’s College, Tinsukia on 26th July, 2025.The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into by the Women’s College, Tinsukia, Assam represented by the Principal, Dr. Mriganka Choudhury and the World Fragrant Cooperation, Sejong, South Korea represented by its General Director, Mr. Lee Ki-Suk with the mutual objective to foster international collaboration and cultural exchange. Recognizing the value of global partnerships in advancing educational and cultural perspectives, both the institutions express their intent to establish a mutually beneficial association aimed at promoting Korean language education as a second foreign language in India. This initiative is envisioned as a foundation for sustained global fraternity, institutional cooperation and long-term collaboration. The International MoU Signing Ceremony meeting was presided over by Dr. Achyut Borthakur, Governing President of Women’s College, Tinsukia. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Bibha Rani Goswami, Vice Principal, and Dr. Surabi Dutta, IQAC Coordinator of the college. Also in attendance were Ms. Debojani Das, Faculty Member of Korean Language Studies, Dibrugarh University, and Mr. Pyoseng Chowlu, Assistant Secretary of Paramita Korea Regional Branch, Assam, India. The legal formalities of the MoU signing were witnessed by Sri Sanjay Agarwal, Notary, Tinsukia, and Ms. Arjita Das, Advocate, Tinsukia. The program was further enriched by the active participation of the teaching and non-teaching staff and the enthusiastic presence of the students of Women’s College, Tinsukia. The ceremony marked a significant step toward international academic collaboration, cultural exchange, and institutional growth. |
